3-Day Cardiovascular Fellows Course
The Northwell Health Cardiovascular Fellows Course provides current Fellows in Training with a comprehensive review of the latest literature and case management in the fields of Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Electrophysiology and Structural Heart Disease.
The course will offer in-depth hands-on experiences through simulator sessions, heart dissections, product workshops and symposiums. These interactive sessions, let by industry experts and faculty will emphasize the significance of collaboration between industry and interventional cardiology.
Fellows also have the opportunity to present at the course during one of our 2 Case Competitions.
2-Day Electrophysiology Fellows Course
The Northwell Health Electrophysiology Fellows Course is designed to equip Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellows with a comprehensive analysis of contemporary Electrophysiology topics.
The course seeks to provide emerging electrophysiologists with a detailed understanding of heart rhythm disorders starting from developing a strong knowledge foundation of cardiac anatomy and physiology and applying this knowledge into clinical practice. Educational Sessions include porcine heart dissection and anatomical correlates, device therapies and therapies for atrial and ventricular arrhythmias.
1-Day Nurse / Technologist Course
The Northwell Health Cardiovascular Nurse / Technologist Course is a one-day educational event designed to keep health care professional up to date on the latest therapies and cutting-edge technologies in the industry. The Course will provide attendees with a foundation to incorporate new technology into his/her nursing practice and to utilize current clinical diagnostic information to assess and prioritize patient’s treatment needs.
